Heading over to the states with my good mate Tom Hedley (Henry Homesweet) in march for my first proper USA tour, bundling in a van with the creamers (Starscream) + guchi bros (Anamanaguchi) + vj's paris + outpt for three weeks of absolute mayhem. Watch out!
^ with regards to that last one, the tour is booked to play the datapop party, but they're trying to get as many chip/8bit musicians there as possible - here's the kickstarter page, let's try and make this like an early Blip Festival!

Things I have learned from this year's alliance tour
1. most danish people are bi-sexual
2. 'the migrane skank' is the second worst song in the world, next to funkee dee's 'are you gonna bang doe?'
3. liverpool is the worst place to host a chip night, but they have amazing nights out.
4. it really is colder up north
5. If i'm going to continue gigging with the same frequency as I have this year, or do another tour - I need a manager.

want free tickets for you + 2 friends to ANY Chiptune Alliance Tour 2009 show? - Read on!
I've got 3 free spots up for grabs at any of the Chiptune Alliance Tour 2009 shows starting 25th september.
All you'll need to do is print the flyer for the event you want to go to beforehand, and hand it out in your town! - in doing so geting the word out to people that we're in town, introduce new people to chiptune music and do your part for the 8-bit scene in the uk!
We'll also give you copies of the 2009 tour cd!
If you're interested please either comment here or email me (sabrepulse at gmail.com) and i'll send you more info!

Chiptune Alliance Tour 2009 CD Submissions
I'm looking for tracks from artists old and new, to put on the Alliance Tour 09 CDR .
As with everything CTA Tour this year, it's a little last minute - so the deadline is by the end of next week (Friday 11th September) in order for me to get them all printed.
If you, or anyone you know would be interested in submitting a track (.MP3, 192kbs min) please get in touch. The cd as previous tours is completely non-for-profit and all proceeds will go into supplementing travel and helping fund future events!

I'm looking for a london promoter to help organise a show for the Alliance Tour 09 in or around central london on the 26th September. The date can't be changed as it's the only free one we'll be in the area.

Update on the Alliance Tour 09 dates

Note that Unicorn Kid will not be performing on the tour, and Henry Homesweet can't play the scottish dates due to their other tours overlapping with this one.
Final lineup for all the dates will be announced in the next month, for now here are the confirmed dates, locations and venues.

The new layout is up over on myspace.com/sabrepulse - i've got extremely limited net access at home (iphone), and there's no firefox at work so i'm going to be unable to sort the content out till this weekend.
There is a new song up, i'm not planning on 'Star Romance' being part of the new record - it's just a nice poppy summer track!
